While Internetrix can provide a wide range of ongoing services, we recognise that most marketers and webmasters wish to acquire knowledge and skills themselves. With a product as powerful as Google Analytics, being confident enough to segment a report and compare it to a date range can make the difference between critical marketing insight and just another pile of charts.
Recognising this need, Internetrix has developed a range of in-house and public training options, identified below.

Google Analytics training

In-House

Our in-house training courses are designed to be delivered to small groups in workshop-style sessions, and come in a number of formats:

  • Introductory Training
The introductory program is targeted at marketers and webmasters who are new to Google Analytics, and covers concepts such as how Google Analytics works, overviews of the most important reports, discussions about the limitations of anonymous website statistics, the ability to use goals and campaigns, and finally some specifics on installing GA on your own website. This is an ideal course for small business owners new to online marketing and analytics, and those with fairly small sites and marketing budgets. Our Introductory training course gives you the information you need to set up a standard website, monitor key reports and create basic marketing campaigns. In this session, you will also be introduced to additional Internetrix training options.
  • Report Training
Report Training a specialized course for marketers and executives (or their assistants), where we teach you some of the more powerful and advanced features in the Google Analytics reporting engine. In this course, we cover filters, the use of multiple profiles to focus on specific data and trends, comparison periods, reports and segmentations, and of course goals, funnels and conversion rates. This is an ideal course for people who are either experienced with Google Analytics, or who aren't concerned with the details of "how" Google Analytics captures and tracks visitor information. After this course, you should be confident to use not only the relevant Google Analytics reports for your business, but also to use their segmentation and comparison features to glean deep insights from your website statistics.
  • Campaign Training
Campaign Training is a specialized course for marketers and technical people involved in supporting marketing campaigns. In this course, we show you how Google Analytics can be used to track and report on campaigns, covering topics such as link tagging, visitor segmentation, custom variables, keyword analysis, costs of conversion and more. Importantly, Internetrix has some unique expertise in using Google Analytics to track offline campaigns, meaning that your newspaper, direct mail or radio campaign which uses your website as a call to action can be tracked through GA.
  • Technical Training
The Technical training program is designed for web developers, coders, JavaScript experts and Flash gurus. Ideally suited to technical teams within a web development or online marketing business, our Google Analytics Technical Training follows a highly interactive workshop format, which provides a strong opportunity for Q&A time between your engineers and our technically experienced training staff. Given our accreditation as a Google Analytics Certified Partner, we also receive privileged access to the engineers that build and maintain Google Analytics, ensuring that all your GA challenges can be resolved. An ideal course if you are looking to enhance your service offering to clients with confidence, our Google Analytics Technical Training is a great way to increase the value you provide to your clients.

Public

Internetrix offers alternative training courses in the form of intensive public training sessions, which are held throughout the year in various locations. Further information regarding current public training sessions is available in the Events section of our website.
