The
Careers Alert System makes use of the Internet and emails to help
Careers Advisers handle more effectively the mass of correspondence
they receive.
It allows Careers Advisers to use the "touch it once" principle. With one action they can:
- Record a brief summary of the message on their careers alert website
- Print off a copy to display on a noticeboard
- Print off a copy that can be added to the school daily announcements
- Email this message at the end of the day to students and parents on your mailing list
- Give email recipients the web address of the message sender so they can follow up directly, to them, from home
- Store all alerts in a searchable database which students can access at a later stage
Further information about the Careers Alert System, such as costs and an explanation of the system , can be found on the Careers Alert website at
