Welcome to the first edition of Internetrix News for 2008! We are pleased to bring you a feature article regarding watching TV online. As more of us get high speed broadband internet at home, choosing what to watch, when we want to watch it, and avoiding commercials is becoming more and more possible.
Talking of TV, our engineers haven't had much of a chance to watch any recently. Since returning from the Christmas break, our teams have been working hard to add a new "warm failover" feature to our hosting offering. To see what this means for you and your website, see the link provided below.
The new year has also bought a fresh face to the Internetrix offices, with an expansion of capacity and skills in our design and interactive marketing team. We welcome Amy Neville, and with a baptism of fire we asked her a few questions which are available in this month's staff profile.
Last of all, it wouldn't be an Internetrix newsletter without a helpful tip to make the most out your website. Thanks to our special accreditation with Google, we were one of the first companies in Australia to be exposed to their new Website Optimizer product. What's Website Optimizer? It provides multi variate testing, which is a difficult way of introducing the idea of having many versions of the one webpage with subtle differences on each. To understand why that can be very helpful read on.
Australia has seen a dramatic increase in the number of households using a broadband connection, rising to over 37% in the last year.

At Internetrix we take hosting responsibilities very seriously and our engineers have been working late into the night to ensure that the best services keep getting better.

Website Optimizer is a new powerful tool from Google that's free and will help you to increase the effectiveness of your website.

Amy Neville Senior Interactive Designer How long have you been with Internetrix? One month.
