Internetrix is tickled pink to announce the launch of a DAViDS Real Estates’ new site, which has specialised Google map and photo gallery functionality to further enhance their range of impressive property listings.

Founded in January 2002, DAViDS Real Estate began with the vision that it would one day be an international brand focused on quality, professionalism and integrity. Thanks to dedication and combined industry experience DAViDS is today one of the largest independent real estate offices in their market.

DAViDS had previously worked with Internetrix to develop their first web presence, built on a previous version of Freestyle, the Internetrix content management solution. This enabled DAViDS to have full control of their website and update it with listings, photos and virtual tours without any technical training or ongoing costs.

But as we all know, a couple of years means exponential changes in the technology sphere, so DAViDS decided its website could use some sprucing. Together DAViDS and Internetrix developed a concept for the new upgraded site that now provides DAViDS with a number of advantages furthering customer service and eliminating administration burden in the DAViDS offices.

Essentially Internetrix took an existing website running on an older version of Freestyle and upgraded it to Freestyle 4, while at the same time extending the functionality tremendously by adding the Freestyle Property Module. This module, with particular benefit for the real-estate market, provides advanced property search, real-time mapping and an improved photo gallery. This module also has the option to integrate the Freestyle site into the major portals so that listings in Freestyle are automatically pushed through to the newspapers and online classifieds.

Freestyle 4 now provides DAViDS with extended functionality, improved usability and easier website management. With Freestyle’s recent upgrade, page and resource management is now in one easy to use, secure administration area, with all pages and resources grouped in folders to provide improved usability. While inserting content into Freestyle, a Microsoft Word-like toolbar is available for editing content, making it even easier to link, insert images, spell check and more.

But what’s super cool about DAViDS upgrading to Freestyle 4 is the advanced functionality it now provides. Once DAViDS creates a ‘property’ page the company can then go to web folder view which allows them to simply drag and drop images into that folder, with Freestyle automatically compressing, cropping and optimising the images in real time, providing ease of use for both staff and site visitors!

Also upgraded on the DAViDS website are the detailed property location maps. To do so, Internetrix implemented Google’s new mapping product, ensuring that each website property page could effectively handle its maps.

With all facets taken into consideration, the new DAViDS site is a very powerful website comparable to the most well-known real estate websites as it allows DAViDS to control content and new pages, control restricted areas of the site, map out property locations, show of multiple detailed photographs (which makes selling/buying a house) much easier.
