Internetrix is pleased to announce that we've won a 2006 Web Award
for Outstanding Achievement in Website Development for the
Turner
+ Associates website.
Organised
by the Web Marketing Association, an American group founded in
1997 to help set a high standard for Internet marketing and web
development, the 2006 Web Awards named the best websites from a variety
of categories.
Considered to be the premier website award
program out there today, nominations for best website came from
interactive agencies and web marketing departments from 33 countries
around the world.
Winning an award for Outstanding Achievement in Website Development for the TAA
site is obviously quite an honor. This award recognises the fact that many other sites were entered
in the architecture division, but that our work was a cut above.
To
be eligible to win, all nominated websites were put through a rigorous
judging process. Each competing website was reviewed by three judges
for evaluation. While judges were provided with a mission statement and
target audience for each site, they investigated a list of criteria for
a total possible score out of 70.
The TAA website was awarded an Outstanding
Achievement award which indicates that we scored somewhere between 50
and 60 points out of a total of 70. Not too shabby if we do say so
ourselves!
We would also like to publicly thank Nicholas Turner of
Turner and Associates who agreed to have the website entered into the
competition.
