Welcome to the February issue of the Internetrix Newsletter, coming to you from the Fundraising Institute of Australia national conference in sunny Brisbane.

In just over a week, we celebrate an exciting milestone – Internetrix turns 5! To celebrate, we're holding our second Internetrix : Insight event on Tuesday, March 8th, and if you'd like to come along, continue reading below.

This month, we're excited to welcome one of the most unique and successful travel organisations in Australia – Odyssey Travel. We're also pretty ecstatic about launching the newest version of our Affinity customer management system for the Centre for TPM, allowing them to manage all of their customer information online.

We've all heard about downloading music online, and the effect it has had on the music industry (whether you believe the music industry is another issue). With the affordability and accessibility of fast, broadband internet connections, we're seeing an interesting twist in this file-sharing revolution started by Napster some 5 years ago. Now you can download movies and even TV shows, and a technology consultancy, Envisional, has just released a report showing Australians are the second largest downloaders in the world, following the British. If you haven’t heard about Bittorrent, or you're wondering how your friends or associates are already a season ahead in the hit series 'The OC' or 'Lost', this story is for you.

Finally, in one of our annual community support activities, Internetrix is proud to be supporting Carlennium this weekend, raising money for the Shepherd Centre. We're also looking for your help – read on to see what makes Carlennium such a great event for your business to get behind.
