It is hard to believe another year has past. As is always the case, I’m still getting used to writing the date ending with 04, but this year, it is even more un-nerving – it feels like I just got used to writing 03!

As mentioned in our Christmas dispatch, things got so hectic around Internetrix during the end of last year, we didn’t have the time to put together a newsletter… and this edition proves we weren’t kidding! We introduce a new member of the Internetrix Team – Mark Turnbull – and announce our newest client, Wollongong City Council. Just in case we didn’t have our hands full enough, some people with really poor English decided to release a virus in memory of the European Space Agency’s Mars Probe, Beagle II – the first major virus attack of 2004.

We also have an early look at the new anti-spam legislation passed by the Australian Senate in December, give you a sneak-preview at some upcoming improvements in our hosting plans and service, and of course our usual feature, where we showcase a record number of newly finished projects! For any of our hosting clients who travel, make sure you know about webmail – Internetrix’s own web based email service.

If the old adage about absence making the heart grow fonder is true, we really hope you love this edition, our first since October.
