The
Southern Councils Group (SCG) is a voluntary association of seven Local councils
(Bega Valley, Eurobodalla, Kiama, Shellharbour, Shoalhaven, Wingecarribee, and Wollongong). The SCG is charged with
fostering collaboration between the councils. The Southern Councils Group has
deployed Internetrix Nucleus to help members of various committees across the
councils to share information, collaborate on projects, and track
communications more efficiently.
Nucleus
allows committee members to contribute valuable resources and ideas to projects
at any time, removing the significant barriers of such a geographically spread
member base. Its built in feedback engine allows committee members to track all
communications flowing through the system, so that all members are informed of
the latest updates in their respective fields.
The varying
roles within council that will be utilising Nucleus are as diverse as the
General Managers, Planning Directors, Economic Development Managers, Waste
Services Managers and Coast Care Officers. Each committee can share their
resources and information to ensure that different councils are not duplicating
effort on the same problems.
Leslie
Scarlett, the Executive Officer at the SCG described Nucleus as "offering
significant efficiency gains as committee members can access any information
they need instantly through one central repository. Nucleus provides a
fantastic tool to help us leverage the knowledge and experience of our
constituent councils."

and the sharing of critical resources, please contact our team.
