Welcome to another feature packed edition of Internetrix News!

Well, the year is into full swing, and there is lots going on around Internetrix following our third birthday on 8 March. We hope your business is weathering the global uncertainty and keeping busy too! Our birthday present to ourselves is our new Website – check it out if you missed the sneak preview last month at www.internetrix.com.au

In this edition, we introduce one of the world's leading Young Adventurers, Tim Cope, who rode a bike from Moscow to Beijing through the harsh territory of Siberia and the Gobi desert.

We also have a critical update for anyone who uses the internet via a modem – it could save you hundreds of dollars from attackers who can hijack your computer to call 1900 numbers – we know because it happened to one of our staff last month.

We also have the pleasure of announcing a new service of proofreading which you can use in conjunction with our site development and maintenance services to keep your site looking fresh and sharp.

This month also include the first in a new regular column, 'Pushing the Envelope', where we look at some of the new exciting things going on on-line. This month is a story from our new designer, David Clarke, who takes you on a brief tour of what is possible with online interactive games. Play favourites like Need for Speed and SSX (Snowboarding) with nothing more than your browser – throw away that PlayStation!!!

Finally, this month’s tip is about a great, free tool to optimize images; something you will be confronted with either to email digital photos to friends or family, or update your new CMS driven website.

Thanks for reading, and if you have any comments or suggestions to provide, don’t hesitate to call or e-mail us any time.
