Founder and Managing Director of Internetrix, Geoff McQueen, was one of a handful of Australian entrepreneurs and technologists featured in a News Review piece by Ben Cubby on the 20th of May 2006.
From the article:
McQueen studied computer science at the University of Wollongong
between 1998 and mid-2000, when he dropped out to pursue his
business.
His experiences selling his ideas internationally have left him
comfortable that Australian innovation is in good shape.
"Actually, I have found it pretty reassuring and exciting as an
Australian entrepreneur, knowing that there really isn't much
difference between what is happening there and here," he says. "The
one issue, I suppose, is that so many companies that come up with a
great idea don't really know how to use it, or if people want
it."
